Registration Process
Shrine Mont Camps welcomes all without regard to race, gender or denominational background. Camps fill
quickly, so do not delay sending in your registration!

Ask your priest or senior warden to sign the application.
Campers must be within the ages specified on the first day of camp.
A $75 non-refundable deposit per camper per session must accompany the registration
(applied to your total fee). Registrations without deposits will not be processed.
Applicants who are not parishioners of the Diocese of Virginia must pay an additional $10 above listed costs.
Applications (included at the end of this brochure) are date-stamped as
they are received. Members of the Diocese of Virginia and 2004 campers will
receive preferential registration until April 15th.
After April 15th remaining applications will be processed in the order in which they were received.
- Tuition must be paid in full 2 weeks before your campers first day of camp. If not paid in full, you space may be given to someone on the waiting list.

Once You Are Registered
- A health form will be mailed to you when we receive your registration.
- A physical examination (within the past year) by a doctor is required
for ALL participants. Please note that the terrain at Shrine Mont
is hilly and uneven, requiring some agility and stamina.
- If you do not receive confirmation within two weeks of mailing your registration, please call the diocesan Program Office to verify that it has been received (1-800-DIOCESE or 804/643-8451).
Scholarship Information
People come to Shrine Mont to celebrate being a part of the family of God.
The cost of camp should not keep any child from attending
- To receive a scholarship application form, check the appropriate box on the registration form.
- Families are strongly encouraged to inquire of their priest or senior
warden about the availability of scholarship aid at the parish or regional
level.
- Scholarship aid requests will be received until June 1, 2005.
Cancellations
- Cancellations should be made in writing.
- We cannot refund your deposit after you are accepted, unless
Shrine Mont Camps and Conferences cancels the event.
- After 2 weeks before a camp begins, a 50% penalty will be assessed.
- Other extenuating circumstances should be communicated in writing and will be considered individually.
It is the explicit policy of Shrine Mont and the Diocese of Virginia that possession or use of controlled substances,
nonprescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, fireworks and dangerous weapons is prohibited
at all youth camps and conferences.
