St. Elizabeth's Camp
St. Elizabeth's Camp is for mild to moderately mentally impaired campers. Days are filled with swimming, art, singing, canoeing, fishing and worship. Each Camper has a buddy (counselor) who assists with daily activities and forming friendships.
Volunteer Counselors (ages 14 & up) are challenged to set aside their needs and focus exclusively on the campers. St. Elizabeth's Camp is a demanding and rewarding experience for volunteers. People interested in being a volunteer counselor should call the Diocese of Virginia and request an application.
